Privacy Policy

The short version
Your bank statements are processed in memory and discarded immediately after your spreadsheet is generated. We never write statement contents, transactions, balances or account numbers to any database, log or file store. This is not a policy choice that could quietly change; it is how the system is built.
What we do store
Converting requires an account, and for each account we keep: your email address (via our authentication provider Clerk), your subscription status (via Polar, our merchant of record), and a usage ledger containing file names, page counts, dates and success/failure status of conversions. None of these records contain financial data from your statements.
Sub-processors
We rely on the following processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting and AI gateway), Google (model inference for document parsing; data is processed transiently and not used for training), Neon (metadata database), Clerk (authentication) and Polar (payments, acting as merchant of record). Each processes only what is required for its function.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time. Since statement contents are never stored, there is nothing to delete beyond the account and usage metadata described above. Contact us atprivacy@flexart.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use only the first-party session cookies required by authentication. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
